Aileen's Reviews

The natural warmth and vintage style of tightly woven wool flannel combines with a weather-resistant polyester laminate in a slim-fitting, pea coat-inspired blazer that insulates, protects and flatters — all at once.

The jacket is too boxy for me. I normally wear a Medium in other Nau jackets (Urbane Jacket, Dualist Jacket) and those fit wonderfully but this one is unflattering on me. The shoulders are wide enough and the sleeves are long enough, but the chest and waist are baggy.
The rest of the jacket is nice - it's not too heavy, while feeling thick and warm but I haven't been able to give it a real test run since it hasn't left my bedroom.
I am debating returning it altogether because at this price the jacket has to be a perfect fit, and while a small might do the trick my guess is that it will be too small in the shoulders.

Old-school klettersack meets modern pack in this pared down minimalist bag. Large enough to hold the essentials for a day hike or a tour of the city, the slim Motil Pack features an integrated hydration sleeve (compatible with most hydration systems) and shoulder straps padded with recycled wool.

I love the way this pack looks, and the way it fits. It's extremely comfortable. The wool straps are a very nice touch.
In the end, I found this pack to be too "pared down" for my needs and I wish I could have known this based on the photos so I wouldn't have to return it (wasting resources to send this beauty back to Portland). It really is disappointing that there are so few photos demonstrating the interior of the pack.
I used it to go to and from work. There is one mesh pocket that's 6x8 that is the first thing you see when you fold back the flap, and can almost hold a billfold and smartphone vertically next to one another.
The next pocket is in the main compartment. This pocket contains a vertical pocket - which could hold an iPod or a digital camera, or a cell phone. Next to it there are two vertical pen slots. I have a thickish fountain pen that I wasn't able to put in here.
With the additional product photos I'm not sure I would have ever purchased this pack to begin with.
I would recommend this if you were looking for a ~700 cu in pack to hold a sack lunch, 32oz water bottle, and a paper notebook and a windbreaker, but not much else.
