Taking cues from an old flannel, this cold-weather staple marries the warmth of 850-fill down with the silhouette of a button-down for an insulated winter shirt that's warm enough on its own or perfect as layer.
I bought the original down shirt/jacket about 4 years ago. I love it. It's very lightweight and warm and I wear it all the time in the winter. Many people have complimented me on it and bought the same one.
I decided to buy another one and foolishly assumed it would be the same. The original has snap buttons that are easy to use and look good. The new one has buttons that are hard to button (try buttoning the collar...impossible). The original is cut slim but not too slim. The new one is so slim it looks like a girl's jacket. The original is a solid color and the new one is a weird striped design.
Nau Designers, Go back to the original. No need to mess with a classic!
Thanks

A tailored twist to a winter staple creates a down puffy so light and low-profile, it wears like a sweater. Ultra-light, 850-fill down and DWR finish offers all the warmth and protection without the bulk.
I thought this would fit the same as the down shirt/jacket but not. It was so tight I had to return it. the next size would have been to long in the arms.
