Old-school klettersack meets modern pack in this pared down minimalist bag. Large enough to hold the essentials for a day hike or a tour of the city, the slim Motil Pack features an integrated hydration sleeve (compatible with most hydration systems) and shoulder straps padded with recycled wool.

This bag has changed my life! As a girl approaching 30, going back to grad school presented a problem.. how to carry my laptop and school books. The options in backpacks weren't so pretty, and let's face it, messenger bags have a narrow range of comfort with which you can carry heavy items before you start to resemble the leaning tower of Pisa. This bag accommodates my laptop in a convenient sleeve, allowing a few (smaller) books to sink nicely to the bottom of the bag, leaving room for my lunch and sometimes even my water bottle. Bottom line, it looks small, but it's mighty. The bulk has been taken out of the traditional backpack while still allowing for a great carrying capacity which is very comfortable. The straps stay on my narrow framed shoulders and the lap belt makes me wonder if I forgot my computer at home? Nope, it's still in there. The Ultimate test - squeezing onto a packed NYC subway train without taking down any straphangers. I can carry what I need and look good doing it. Don't get me started with how functional it is on my bike..
