wickdesign's Reviews

Smaller than the Motil Commuter but sharing its sleek, pared down design, the Motil Ped is just the right size for shouldering the day's essentials. Organizing pockets, a 14" laptop sleeve, and elegantly integrated closures make it the ideal everyday quiver.

Agree with previous reviewer that this bag has so much going for it but misses the mark on a few key things. Fabric has a fantastic feel, the bag looks great, I've used it in the rain and everything has stayed dry, and I love the cleverly covered water bottle/umbrella pockets on the sides.
My 13" MacBook does fit in the bag — but if you look carefully in the photo, you will notice it has to go in vertically (that slit you see is the CD drive). This is fine, except that the height can then make it harder to close the bag, and when you do sometimes the front panel bunches a little bit and you may not get coverage over the mesh pocket — which could mean a water leak, although it hasn't happened to me. The bottom of the laptop pocket also isn't padded, so don't go throwing your bag on the ground if you've got a laptop in it. I also found it a little awkward/uncomfortable to carry for long stretches, but I'm very petite so it may not fit me quite right.
It looks like they've added a few features since I bought the bag (mine doesn't have a tab for securing the laptop pocket).
Pros: Performance, Quality, Styling, Fabric
Cons: Design Features
Yes, I recommend this product.
